Tommy Vext has addressed recent speculation about his involvement with Bad Wolves. He clarified his plans for a new musical project in a statement shared on Instagram.

Vext made the statement to correct misinformation about his future band plans and clarify his relationship with Bad Wolves.

“Once again to clarify, I am NOT nor did I say I was reforming Bad Wolves,” Vext said. “I am starting a new band with Chris on a new label with new management and a new name.”

He continued to address the media coverage of his plans.

“We are now auditioning members,” he added. “Please stop misprinting and misrepresenting what is going on here. Thank you.”

This clarification comes after Vext, along with guitarist/vocalist Doc Coyle and bassist/vocalist Kyle Konkiel, departed from Bad Wolves. Vocalist Daniel ‘DL’ Laskiewicz joined Falling in Reverse during this transition.

The recent departures mark another significant change for Bad Wolves. The band has experienced multiple lineup shifts since its formation. The group’s history has been marked by both commercial success and internal turbulence.

Lambgoat reported that despite the professional split, Vext revealed he has reconciled personally with former Bad Wolves drummer John Boecklin. He stated they “had dinner in March and hugged it out.” This personal reconciliation suggests that the band’s dissolution was handled amicably among the members.

Vext has maintained his creative partnership with guitarist Chris Cain. The two are now writing new music for their upcoming project. Loaded Radio noted that the two musicians have remained close throughout the transition and are actively developing material for their new venture.

Meanwhile, The PRP indicated that Bad Wolves are assembling an entirely new lineup under Boecklin’s leadership. This would mark the third time the band has reformed with new members since its 2017 formation. The changes highlight the ongoing evolution of the group’s roster.

The band’s ability to continue despite multiple lineup changes demonstrates the strength of the Bad Wolves brand. It also shows Boecklin’s commitment to maintaining the project’s momentum in the metal scene.
