Sebastian Bach recently shared cryptic details about a secret recording session, sparking speculation about new Twisted Sister music in a post on Instagram.
The former Skid Row frontman posted from a Las Vegas studio while wearing a Twisted Sister t-shirt. This fueled rumors about potential new material from the iconic metal band.
“Shhhh! Don’t tell anyone! Big time Recording Session in Las Vegas! We are sworn to secrecy … for now! More than meets the eye,” Bach said.
When a Twisted Sister fan asked about the possibility of creating new songs with the band, Bach provided insight into the creative process and explained the only way he could work with the band on new music.
“Anything is possible, but since Dee Snider wrote all the Twisted Sister songs, I would imagine it would have to be Dee Snider writing the new Twisted Sister songs,” Bach responded.
Bach’s mysterious studio session comes as the metal community prepares for a significant milestone in Twisted Sister’s history.
Louder Sound reported that Dee Snider retired from touring on doctor’s orders. This prompted guitarists Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda to bring in Bach alongside drummer Joey Cassata and bassist Russell Pzutto. This lineup change marks a new chapter for the iconic band that has dominated the metal scene for decades.
The upcoming performances represent Twisted Sister’s 50th anniversary reunion tour. The debut show is scheduled for September 4 at Borealis Theatre in Palmer, Alaska. The tour will continue with dates in Oklahoma and Ontario, giving fans their first opportunity to witness Bach fronting the legendary band.
Metal Insider confirmed that these North American shows will take place this fall. They mark the first time audiences will experience Twisted Sister’s classic catalog performed by their new vocalist. The announcement has generated significant excitement among metal fans who are eager to see how Bach’s powerful voice will interpret the band’s beloved hits.
The timing of Bach’s Las Vegas recording session, combined with his recent integration into Twisted Sister’s touring lineup, suggests that the band may be exploring new creative possibilities beyond their anniversary celebrations. While Bach acknowledged that any new Twisted Sister material would likely require Dee Snider’s songwriting involvement, the mysterious nature of his studio work continues to fuel speculation about potential collaborations.
