The late Scott Weiland’s son Noah declared war on what he sees as the ‘fake pop-punk underground rap’ scene, expressing his disdain in a recent Instagram post.
In his recent social media update, Noah shared a video for his new song, ‘Ooh Ooh Ooh,’ emphasizing his frustration with the industry’s insincerity. He wrote in the caption:
“Since everyone wanna be fake af in this industry, here’s my new music video (directed/edited/shot by me on a Macbook). ‘Ooh Ooh Ooh’ out now. Link in bio (produced by Yungspoiler). I first wanna apologize for always taking so long to drop music, but guess what? The Big Bad Wolf is back, and he’s here to huff and puff as many cigs as he can while making sure none of your other corny a** mf pop punk underground rapper f*cks have a chance to breathe! We will be victorious. EP soon.”
Noah released his first solo EP in June 2022, titled ‘Last Kiss Before Detox,’ which was crafted from his personal experiences of pain, addiction, love, and betrayal. At the time, he said he wished he could share his music with his late father, Scott Weiland.
Addressing The Past

Later, he also released another song named ‘Yesterday.’ Despite being labeled a ‘drug addict’ in media headlines following the release, Noah remained unfazed. He clarified that while the headlines might focus on his past struggles with addiction, he has moved beyond that phase of his life. The singer noted:
“And btw, I could care less about the headlines talking about addiction: 1) It’s helping grow my music. 2) I don’t even struggle with drugs anymore. So it doesn’t bother me… It’s the past! Also, I don’t even consider myself ‘sober’ or ‘in AA.’ Nothing against it whatsoever (I still enjoy fellowship). I’m just past that point of my life now! Just wanted to clear that up since there’s some headlines.”
Noah’s musical journey has seen him evolve from his time with Suspect208 to exploring a more pop-oriented solo path. Recently, he expressed a desire to return to rock, hinting at a potential collaboration with Tommy Lee to bring this vision to life. He reached out to his fans, urging them to support this collaboration.
