Megadeth Launch A Mysterious Website Hinting At New Music Release

Megadeth recently posted a tweet to announce the launch of a mysterious website, possibly indicating the release of new music material.

In January 2021, Dave Mustaine revealed that the upcoming Megadeth album’s title would be ‘The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead!’ After his leaked masturbation video scandal, Megadeth fired Ellefson on May 24, ensuring the fans that the bassist won’t rejoin the band in the future.

In the aftermath of this shocking incident, Mustaine announced that Megadeth would re-record Ellefson’s parts in the ‘The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead!’ album. The band hid their new bassist for a time while James LoMenzo filled in for their tour, and Testament’s Steve Di Giorgio performed as a session bassist on the upcoming album.

In June 2022, Megadeth announced that their new bassist was James LoMenzo. After the exciting news, fans began waiting for the band’s new album. ‘The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead!’ is set to release in September 2022, but Megadeth recently made a mysterious announcement regarding a new release.

In a recent tweet, the band announced the launch of their website to promote the album, urging the fans to mark themselves safe from their iconic mascot Vic Rattlehead. Upon entering the site, fans hear a snippet of a possible new music material along with a morse code that translates into ‘sick, dying, dead.’

The band’s tweet read:
