John Mayer entered New Year’s Eve in a cat bar, and it went viral.
During Cooper’s yearly live session with Andy Cohen on CNN’s New Year’s Eve Times Square special, the musician briefly joined the broadcast via video call from a Japanese venue overflowing with cats. There were only about 45 minutes left until midnight when the Mayer joined. As Mayer’s video feed displayed him, Cooper burst into laughter when he saw the musician turn up to say hi from a cat bar filled entirely with orange cats.
Cohen, seeing Mayer surrounded by cats, said to the singer:
“John, this doesn’t look sanitary.”
He replied with:
“You know what, I believe it passes all health codes, I think it’s just fine.”
While Cohen and Mayer were having a conversation, Cooper could not keep a straight face as opposed to Mayer, who did not even chuckle once.
