Greta Van Fleet shared a post on its official Instagram page announcing that they just released a brand new single named ‘Heat Above’ in addition to an accompanying music video, the band’s upcoming album, ‘The Battle at Garden’s Gate’ is only a few months away and fans cannot wait to hear more from them.
As many of you know, Greta Van Fleet is a new band which was formed in 2012 by Kiszka brothers lead vocalist Josh, lead guitarist Jake, and bassist Sam, in addition to drummer Danny Wagner. The band started strong when they topped the Billboard U.S. Mainstream Rock and Active Rock charts in September 2017 for four weeks in a row with their debut single, ‘Highway Tune.’
The band released their first studio album, ‘Anthem of the Peaceful Army’ on October 19, 2018, and their debut album was criticized heavily due to the fact that everybody had a high expectation after the attention that’s being thrown at them. Despite the mixed reviews, the album was still nominated for a Kerrang! Award for ‘Best Album.’
Since then, their fans have been waiting for their second album to come which is named ‘The Battle at Garden’s Gate’ and it was previously revealed that the album will be released on April 16, 2021. Just like the previous album, the expectations are high, maybe higher than ever since their first two single releases were a huge success, first single, ‘My Way, Soon,’ and ‘Age of Machine.’
Recently, the official Instagram page of Greta Van Fleet shared a post announcing that the third single, ‘Heat Above’ is released and ready for their fans in addition to a brand new music video which was also released on the band’s official Youtube channel.
