Bruce Springsteen has been currently on the road with his E Street Band, but the tour doesn’t continue as planned due to some mishaps. Following the other canceled dates, Springsteen again made an announcement on Twitter to let the fans know that their March 14 concert was postponed due to illness.

Unfortunately, setbacks started for Springsteen immediately after the first four shows of the tour. Stevie Van Zandt, Soozie Tyrel, and Springsteen’s wife, Patti Scialfa, were all absent during the Dallas concert on February 10. Stevie Van Zandt later clarified on Twitter that he couldn’t take the stage because he had tested positive for COVID-19. Following them, some other band members also missed some gigs on the following dates.

Yet, E Street Band still performed their shows despite some members’ absence until their recent cancellations. Springsteen initially announced that their March 9 show at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, had been postponed. Later, he also disclosed that their March 12 show at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, had also been delayed due to illness.

According to recent news, E Street Band’s March 14 concert at MVP Arena in Albany, New York, will also not take place as planned. They postponed it to a later date due to illness again. Still, the announcement didn’t reveal who was ill. Under the post, some fans guessed it was probably Springsteen, as they thought there was just one band member they couldn’t replace.

Springsteen’s announcement on Twitter read:

“Due to illness, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s concert at MVP Arena in Albany on Tuesday, March 14, has been postponed. We are working on rescheduling the date, so please hold on to your tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled show.”

A user commented:

“It’s gotta be Bruce or Max, hoping for E Street Healing! Seattle was so good, still smiling.”

Another fan wrote:

“There is only one member of the band they cannot get a temporary replacement for. Sending prayers.”

Although no official statement has been given on who is sick or what the illness might be, many fans guess it is probably Springsteen. So, they wished him a quick recovery under the post. After concluding the North American leg of the tour on April 14, they will head toward Europe for the following dates.
