Dee Snider, the legendary frontman of Twisted Sister, recently opened up about a serious safety concern. He shared details on X (formerly Twitter) regarding a female stalker who has made violent threats against him over an extended period.
The rock icon disclosed that this situation has escalated significantly. While he noted that receiving threats is not uncommon in his career, he emphasized that this particular case has become increasingly concerning.
“Heading to SteelCon in Pittsburgh for a weekend of signing and photos with my pals Geezer Butler and Bruce Dickinson! Should be fun. Plus I have a stalker who has been swearing she is going to kill me and drink my blood, so, there’s that,” Snider said.
The musician further elaborated on how the situation has intensified over time. He also detailed the measures authorities have taken to address it.
“So far so good. The police served her today. I get threats all the time (shocker), but this has been going on for many months and is getting progressively more intense. She’s already been escorted out of venues. I used to blow this stuff off…but these are different times,” he continued.
Law enforcement has already taken action by serving the stalker. She has previously been removed from concert venues. While the musician acknowledged that threats are not uncommon in his career, he emphasized that this particular case stands out due to its duration and escalating intensity.
Earlier this year, Twisted Sister officially announced its return to the stage in 2026, marking the band’s 50th anniversary. Their comeback — labelled “Twisted Forever, Forever Twisted” — will see them hit stages worldwide, including planned appearances at major European festivals such as Sweden Rock Festival, Graspop Metal Meeting and Copenhell.
Although the band’s classic 1980s-era bassist won’t be joining — Mark Mendoza has been replaced by Russell Pzütto — core founding members such as guitarist Jay Jay French, lead guitarist Eddie Ojeda, and frontman Dee Snider will be on board. The drum seat will be filled by Joe Franco, a former member who last played with the group in the 1980s.
