Ted Nugent’s Wife Shemane Opens Up About The Death Threats They Received

The famous fitness instructor who’s also Ted Nugent’s wife, Shemane Nugent, recently posted a photo on her Instagram account and opened up about her experience battling COVID-19 and said it reminded her of the time she and her family were diagnosed with toxic mold poisoning as ‘it was really bad.’

As you know, Ted and Shemane Nugent are known both thanks to their successful careers and due to their unconventional statements. In the past year, they often made it to the headlines of rock news with their dismissive attitude towards COVID-19 and they often claimed that the virus is a hoax, that they are against wearing masks and getting vaccinated.

Some weeks ago, Ted Nugent announced that he tested positive for COVID-19 and described his experience by saying ‘I thought I was dying’ but Shemane had refrained from making any public announcements considering her health status. However, just a couple of days ago, she had posted a photo of herself receiving a vitamin iv drip and we had spotted Ted sitting near her, which led us to guess that she probably contracted it too.

With her recent post, Shemane confirmed our suspicions as she announced that she also got COVID-19. She said that it was really bad, not at all similar to the common flu, and that it resembled toxic mold poisoning. As you may recall, at the beginning of the 2000s, the Nugent family was diagnosed with toxic mold poisoning which they contracted from their house, and Shemane was even hospitalized. They all experienced chronic fatigue, trouble breathing, flu-like symptoms, and even short-term memory loss.

Around that time, she was also interviewing people about human trafficking and started receiving death threats, all of which made her question whether she was ‘under attack’ because she was trying to ‘open a can of worms that the Devil didn’t want to expose.’ Thus, these thoughts encouraged her to pray more, open her Bible and study Spiritual Warfare. She finished her message by saying that what she learned from this experience was to ‘Never take your health for granted and never stop fighting for truth.’

Here’s what Shemane Nugent said in the caption of her post:

“It’s been a while since I’ve shared my truth with you. So, here goes, for whatever it’s worth…

When Ted got covid, I got sick too. I tested negative but we know that there are discrepancies with testing (darn, I’ll probably get censored now). As much as I tried to wipe doorknobs and channel changers with disinfectants when my husband started feeling ill, it didn’t help in the end. If you share a household, it’s difficult not to get someone else’s cold or flu. And although I try as hard as I can to stay healthy -juicing, exercising, taking vitamins, eating organic, etc.- this felt like no other flu I’d ever experienced. This was bad. Really bad.

It’s hard for me to share these personal thoughts and feelings of being ill. But on the other hand, I think I’ve grown into the type of person who shares knowledge of what works and what doesn’t in natural health and healing. I’ve tried just about everything to cure myself and my family from toxic mold illness 20 years ago. And this feeling  -cov*d- was equally challenging.”

She went on to say:

“Fortunately, we had the help of America’s Frontline Doctors who were with us every step of the way. We started taking Hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, antibiotics, steroids, and vitamins ABCDE to name a few.

I prayed more than ever. Opened my Bible and examined Spiritual Warfare. Was I under attack? I had to wonder. About the same time, I was interviewing people about human trafficking. And then I started getting death threats…Every day. ‘We hope you die. And everyone in your family dies’ was one comment here.

Was I somehow touching a nerve? Opening a can of worms that the Devil didn’t want to expose? I’ve always said I’m an unlikely messenger. I’m a Christian in a rock ‘n roll world. But aren’t we all? I feel uninvited and at the same time empowered to speak the truth about health, healing, the gospel, and evil in this world. Never take your health for granted and never stop fighting for truth.

Ephesians 6:12, KJV: ‘For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
