The Pretty Reckless frontwoman Taylor Momsen recently shared an update about her venomous spider bite injury that occurred during her tour with AC/DC. She revealed that her condition has worsened despite medical treatment, as shown in a post on Instagram.

Momsen addressed her fans directly about her ongoing health situation and her commitment to continuing the tour despite the setback.

“Hospital today, show tomorrow, poisonous spiders are NO BUENO,” she said. “But the show must go on, see you tomorrow Mexico City!”

The post drew supportive comments from fellow rock musicians. Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale responded with encouragement about Momsen’s resilience. She said, “Good lort girl!!! The creatures of the night are coming for u!! Can’t hold u down tho.”

Fellow musicians rallied around Momsen. Former Arch Enemy singer Alissa White-Gluz also commented on the situation, noting the unusual nature of the incident. Alissa wrote, “The creepy crawlies just can’t keep their fangs off of you!”

The frontwoman confirmed she will continue performing on the tour’s upcoming shows despite the medical complications.

Momsen made headlines in 2024 while opening for AC/DC when she was unexpectedly bitten by a bat mid-performance in Seville, Spain. The incident occurred during the band’s set, when the bat landed on her leg and bit her before she realized what had happened, prompting medical treatment and a series of rabies shots afterward.

Momsen later shared footage of the moment on social media, joking about the bizarre “rock and roll” experience and earning the tongue-in-cheek nickname “Batgirl” from hospital staff.

The story became a viral tour moment, adding to AC/DC’s already chaotic run of shows and cementing one of the more unusual onstage incidents in recent rock tour history.
