Falling in Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke sparked controversy after threatening a fan who commented on his past. The exchange was reported by fvckronnieradke on Instagram. Radke was arrested and charged in connection with a murder case back in 2006. He responded to a fan’s remarks about his time in prison with what many are calling a veiled threat.

The confrontation began when a fan made a pointed comment referencing Radke’s criminal history, including allegations of involvement in murder and grooming. Radke’s reply quickly drew backlash from the community.

“Knowing I’ve never assisted in murder or groomed kids keeps me pretty clear. I’ll stick with that,” the fan commented on Radke’s post.

Radke fired back directly at the fan, raising eyebrows with the tone of his response.

“You’d think if I assisted in a murder… you’d treat a little lighter,” Radke responded.

The reply did not go unnoticed by other fans, with at least one calling out Radke for his choice of words.

“Seriously Ronnie? If you don’t want to be associated with that crime and want people to stop saying you were involved, stop using it with threats. Really simple,” a Falling in Reverse fan responded.

The incident has reignited discussions around Radke’s 2006 arrest and his ongoing public disputes with fans. For many, the exchange is a reminder of a legal history that has followed Radke throughout his career — one that stretches back nearly two decades and includes multiple run-ins with the law.

The Metalverse reported that Radke was sentenced to two years in prison in 2008 after violating probation stemming from the 2006 altercation. He ultimately served approximately two and a half years in Nevada state prison before his release. The 2006 case centered on a fight in which a man was later killed. While Radke was not convicted of murder, his involvement in the events leading up to it resulted in a battery conviction and the probation that he would later violate.

Radke’s legal troubles did not end there. The Los Angeles Times noted that Radke was arrested in Glendale, California, in 2007 on an outstanding domestic assault warrant. Police said his girlfriend accused him of physically assaulting her at home. He was charged with a misdemeanor count of corporal injury to a girlfriend and misdemeanor false imprisonment. He was later released on a $30,000 bail bond.

Despite the controversies, Radke went on to front Falling in Reverse following his release from prison, building a significant fanbase in the rock and metal community. As Loudwire highlighted, his past has remained a recurring point of contention. Fans and critics have frequently raised his criminal record in public forums and on social media.

The latest exchange suggests that Radke remains sensitive to those references — and willing to respond in ways that many find inappropriate. No further official statement has been issued at this time.
