Ronnie Radke recently responded to a metal fan who named Falling in Reverse as one of five “red flag bands” in a viral video. The response was shared on his Instagram account.
The metal fan’s video listed Five Finger Death Punch, Slaughter to Prevail, Marilyn Manson, Sleep Token, and Falling in Reverse as her picks. Radke addressed the criticism directly in his own video response.
“Five red flag bands, you say,” Radke said. “You know what’s an actual red flag? The amount of FaceTune that you put on your face to distract people from how bumpy and disgusting you look in real life. Also the other red flag is you follow Marilyn Manson on Instagram, yet you say that. Lastly, you look like a clay animation character.”
He continued with broader criticism of content creators.
“I think it’s safe to agree that in 2026 moving forward, we’re all sick and tired of ‘content creators’ and these kind of people,” he said. “We don’t need you. Go get a real job, and have a kid or do whatever you need to do that actual woman do. Do something actually worth some time instead of doing this sh*t. We’re all f*cking tired of it. Have a nice day.”
This latest controversy adds to a turbulent year for Radke and Falling in Reverse. The year was marked by multiple public disputes and operational challenges.
Numetal Agenda reported that Radke lost a defamation lawsuit against music critic Anthony Fantano in 2025. He publicly acknowledged the loss, framing the lawsuit partly as a way to generate content and respond to criticism from Fantano, who had posted a negative video about his music.
The band also faced significant touring difficulties throughout 2025. Reports indicated that Falling in Reverse canceled several European tour dates in mid and late 2025, including shows in Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Austria, and Czechia. The cancellations were attributed to “production related logistical issues,” “unforeseen circumstances,” and illness. Speculation about low ticket sales emerged, which Radke denied.
Radke’s confrontational approach extended beyond individual critics to include festivals and other bands. Loudwire noted that he publicly feuded with the Austrian Nova Rock Festival after being dropped from their 2025 lineup. He also called out Japanese metalcore band Crossfaith and the Graspop Festival over allegations involving misconduct.
Additionally, The PRP documented that Radke claimed on social media that Falling in Reverse’s 2025 single “God Is A Weapon,” a collaboration with Marilyn Manson, is the biggest metal and rock release of the year in terms of streaming and sales. He asserted the band’s superiority over acts like Sleep Token and Ghost, further polarizing audiences with his combative style.
The exchange has sparked discussion among fans on social media following the video’s release.
