In a recent post on X, Ronnie Radke commented on Bad Omens surpassing Falling In Reverse in a list of the 30 most popular hard rock songs from 2023 chosen by the listeners of Octane.
The singer shared a link to the list and wrote, sharing his thoughts on Bad Omens’ and his band’s success:
“Congrats to Bad Omens for #1 of the year and thank you to everyone that made ‘Watch the World Burn’ #2 even though the song has no chorus and makes no sense structurally. This list is determined on streams and statistics, unlike the Grammys, where they just randomly pick stuff. So it’s because of you all. So, thank you for 3 years in a row of making me #1 and now #2. Love you, all.”
Discord Over The Song Rankings

Disagreeing with the list, a comment under Radke’s post said:
“Big Falling In Reverse fan, but I’m not gonna lie. That list is stupid as f*ck; that Bad Omens song is from 2021, and also, they didn’t use ‘The Summoning’ by Sleep Token, which probably has higher streams than all the songs on here.”
The musician saw the comment and replied, clarifying a point about the ranking of songs:
“To be clear, none of those songs on that list have higher streams than ‘Watch the World Burn’ does; this list is determined on more than just streams, though.”
Defending The Band’s Popularity

Previously, Radke kept talking about Falling In Reverse’s success, showing off their Spotify numbers on X to answer critics. Even though some said the band was losing popularity after releasing only two songs in 2023, they still got a huge 549.9 million streams. Laughing off the negative comments, Radke told the following on the platform:
“I’ll never understand some of y’all saying I fell off when I released 2 songs this year and got these numbers. Sit you’re a** down. Hahahaha!”
Falling In Reverse is set to join Disturbed on their 23-date ‘Take Back Your Life’ 2024 North American tour. The tour will soon begin in Peoria, Illinois, on January 19, with Falling In Reverse and Plush as the supporting acts.
