Nick Simmons and Evan Stanley have shared an intriguing conversation about a potential collaboration on Instagram. They are the sons of KISS members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley.

“Dude, that video is going crazy,” Evan Stanley said in the exchange. “Guess we gotta start a folk side project. Think of a name. We’ll just throw songs that don’t fit either project in there,” Nick Simmons responded.

“I’m so down. Would be fun,” Evan Stanley replied. The conversation points to a new direction away from their fathers’ rock legacy.

They hint at exploring folk music. A shared photo displays ‘Stanley / Simmons’ written on paper, suggesting their potential band name. This revelation follows speculation about the sons forming a new generation of KISS after the band’s retirement.

The duo’s musical collaboration history extends beyond this new folk project. Both musicians have established their own successful paths in the industry.

Consequence reveals that the pair has completed an album’s worth of material. Their casual recording session evolved into ten original tracks.

Nova highlights Evan Stanley’s role as the lead singer and guitarist of Amber Wild. The band secured an opening spot for KISS during their farewell End of the Road tour.

AXS reports Nick Simmons’s diverse musical journey. He contributed vocals to his father’s 2004 song ‘Carnival of Souls’ and Bruce Kulick’s 2010 track ‘Hand to the King.’ He currently performs with the electronic duo Sym Fera.

The pair has demonstrated their folk capabilities through a cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘The Sound of Silence.’ This experience suggests their new project will successfully merge their rock heritage with folk elements.
