Jon Bon Jovi addressed fans directly during the band’s final Forever Tour performance. The comments come as some fans have expressed concerns about his comeback performances following a previous vocal injury.
Jon Bon Jovi addressed the audience at Wembley Stadium in London during the closing night of the Forever Tour. He reassured fans that the band is not slowing down and is already planning ahead for next year.
“I ain’t done, I ain’t done,” Jon Bon Jovi said. “I’m taking it all in because after tonight it’s going to be a long five or so months before we go back on the road. We are booking a tour right now for next year.”
His remarks carry extra weight given the road he’s traveled to get back on stage in the first place.
In 2022, Jon Bon Jovi underwent a serious vocal cord procedure after one of his cords began to atrophy. Doctors performed a thyroplasty, inserting a Gore-Tex implant to rebuild the cord and bring his vocal folds closer together. The surgery didn’t restore his voice to its former state, but it made singing at this level possible again. This set the stage for the Forever Tour as his true comeback run.
That comeback hasn’t been without setbacks. A sinus infection forced him to cut short a July 23 show at Madison Square Garden after he’d worked through only about half the set. The moment fueled some of the doubts fans have voiced about his readiness to tour at full strength.
Still, Jon Bon Jovi has remained defiant about where he stands physically. He declared himself “fully recovered” ahead of the Forever Tour’s launch. The statement brushed aside concerns about his voice and framed the tour as proof he can still deliver.
“I’m fully recovered,” Jon Bon Jovi said.
The Wembley finale caps a run that began with a heavy Madison Square Garden stretch back in July, marking his first serious return to sustained road touring since the surgery. Jon Bon Jovi is now signaling that this comeback is just the beginning of a longer run back on the road, with plans for a 2027 tour already in motion.
