In a new conversation with Full Metal Jackie, Randy Blythe said Lamb of God will never break up.

The frontman joined the interview to promote his upcoming book ‘Just Beyond The Light: Making Peace With The Wars Inside Our Head.’ “So it’s something I’ve always wanted to do and it’s something that I can do till the day I die,” Blythe said of his love for reading and writing.

He went on to talk about Lamb of God, explaining, “Lamb of God never has to break up. I don’t think we ever will. We’ve talked about it. We don’t ever have to breakup officially.”

Still, he has concerns about his age as the singer shared, “But I don’t know if at like 85 I’m going to be capable of running around onstage and whipping up mosh pits. I just don’t. It’s a very energetic performance you put on. I can’t see it. Nobody wants to see 85.”

Earlier this month, Blythe announced plans for spoken-word and Q&A events for his new book, ‘Just Beyond The Light: Making Peace With The Wars Inside Our Head.’ He also warned that the book is not suitable for children.

He wrote on Instagram, “I just got an email from an acquaintance mentioning that they have already bought tickets to one of the shows and that they will be bringing their son, a lovely young man I have met before. I had to reply and tell them that I am not so sure this is a good idea.”

“As I have mentioned elsewhere, this is NOT a regular book tour, meaning an author sitting at a stool looking all scholarly and reading a few passages from their book, then sitting at a table and signing copies. I will be reading a tiny excerpt at one point from the book, but the rest of the time I’m onstage I will be attempting to illustrate the major themes of the book via stories from my life,” he shared, referring to his experiences with drugs and alcohol.

The book will hit the shelves on February 18, 2025, via Grand Central Publishing.
