Chad Kroeger rescued Sammy Hagar stuck after recent jet trouble.

Hagar posted a video of Kroeger and himself on the jet and captioned the Instagram post, “I love my Rockstar friends. Chad, thanks for the ride, buddy.”

“So, I’m down to Cabo and I’m cruising down the highway. It’s time for me to head home. And I see someone there with their thumbstick out. Next thing I know, I got a hitchhiker,” Kroeger said in the video about how he saved Hagar.

“The Canadian way always helping out,” a fan commented in the post. The Red Rocker replied by saying, “I’m not taking this post slightly. You’re 100% right. This caused Chad a few hours delay for his flight home and we were both pretty beat up from the Cabo Wabo lifestyle fun fun, fun but I know people that would not have done this for even a friend. Chad f*cking rocks. And Canadians got soul.”

Hagar and Kroeger have come together on several occasions before. In 2021, Afghan child musicians, Miraculous Love Kids and Girl With a Guitar, covered Steve Miller’s ‘Fly Like an Eagle’ with Sammy and Chad. A video showed the girls playing guitar and singing, joined remotely by Hagar.

“I’m proud of what you’re doing,” Hagar said in a statement at the time. “Stay strong and fly like an eagle…” The girls dedicated their song to the nearly 100 Afghan girls killed in a Kabul school bombing.

Hagar also invited Kroeger along with Toby Keith, Darryl McDaniels, Bob Weir, Jerry Cantrell, and Eddie Money to join his four-day birthday party in Cabo San Lucas in 2017. The event was featured in a one-night-only film, ‘Red Til I’m Dead: Sammy Hagar’s Rock-N-Roll Birthday Party.’

Hagar’s bandmates from the Circle, including Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham, and Vic Johnson, also appeared in the film, along with Pantera’s Vinnie Paul.
