Aimee Osbourne, daughter of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, made a rare public appearance at her father’s funeral ceremony. She had notably skipped Black Sabbath’s final concert, as reported by People.

The private family member typically avoids the spotlight. She was seen standing alongside her family during yesterday’s funeral service. This marked a significant contrast to her absence from Black Sabbath’s farewell performance. Other family members were present to support the band’s final show.

Aimee Osbourne has historically maintained distance from her family’s public appearances and reality television ventures. She chose to pursue her own path away from the media attention that surrounds the Osbourne family.

The funeral service brought together family members to honor the rock icon’s legacy.

The ceremony took place in Birmingham, England. Thousands of fans gathered to pay their final respects to the heavy metal pioneer who passed away on July 22, 2025, at age 76.

ABC News reported that the funeral procession passed through Birmingham’s main streets. The hearse made a symbolic stop at the city’s Black Sabbath bridge and bench. The memorial site had grown significantly over the week following Osbourne’s death. Fans left flowers, tributes, and personal messages.

Family members, led by wife Sharon Osbourne, took time to view the growing memorial before the procession continued to the private service. AOL noted that the outpouring of public support demonstrated the lasting impact of Osbourne’s five-decade career in music.

The timing of the funeral coincided with news that Ozzy had been working on his upcoming memoir titled ‘Last Rites.’ The book is scheduled for release on October 7. Noise11 revealed that the book was intended to provide fans with a final, comprehensive look at his extraordinary life and career.

The Birmingham ceremony highlighted the deep connection between the Prince of Darkness and his hometown. Black Sabbath first formed there in 1968 and revolutionized heavy metal music forever.
