Noel Gallagher Says Oasis Reunion With His Brother Liam Would Be A ‘Circus’

A fan tweeted an interview clip of Noel Gallagher sharing his thoughts on whether he will ever reunite with his brother Liam Gallagher. He shared that it would probably have negative consequences, so keeping Oasis apart is better for both.

The two brothers have had a tumultuous relationship since their days as bandmates. They have had conflicts and arguments about several matters that negatively impacted their working relationship, as they canceled shows and accused each other of being to blame for everything that went wrong.

Their rocky relationship led Oasis to ultimately disband in 2009, in the middle of the tour when they were ready to hit the stage at the Rock En Seine festival in Paris. Although it has been long since the siblings parted ways, they still don’t see eye to eye over anything related to Oasis.

When Noel was asked about a possible reunion with his brother Liam, the musician was quick to rule out a reunion as an option as it ‘would be a circus‘ all over again. He added that Oasis is doing better than ever in the eyes of fans, so he is happy to keep it that way. Gallagher explained that they have both done so well in their own right. Liam is still selling out shows and performing for fans, so there is no point in rehashing something that didn’t work out the first time.

Noel Gallagher’s words about a reunion with his brother Liam:

“As funny as this sounds, Oasis sell as many records now per year as we did when we were together. We’re as popular now in the eyes of the people as we ever were. And I’m happy with it. If we got back together, it’d be a circus – and there’s no point. Just leave it as it is. I’m happy. He’s doing his thing. He’s still selling out Knebworth. It’s like, mate, good luck to you, do you know what I mean?”
