“I’m taking all the necessary things and will rejoin the tour the absolute second I’m well enough. Alice and the boys are out there kicking ass as always, so show them lots of love if you are going to a show this week. I’m very sorry to miss you guys out there and I will be back as soon as possible.”

Strauss had left Alice Copper to join Demi Lovato for a brief stint. Even though fans were not happy about Nita’s decision the guitarist had told fans that she and Alice were on great terms and the doors were open if she ever wanted to come back. After touring with Demi the guitarist did return to Alice’s band and has been a part of the 2023 tour.

When Nita did leave Alice had told Ultimate Classic Rock that he encouraged Nita to try something new. He had said:

“If somebody has a thing where they say, ‘I want to go do this for six months,’ I go, ‘OK, go.’ Absolutely no problem. I understood what she was trying to do with Demi, and it worked. It was a good thing. And then at the end of it, I said, ‘You want to come back?’ She goes, ‘Sure.’ And I went, ‘OK, great. It’s gonna be a whole new show.'”
