New Arch Enemy singer Lauren Hart recently shared her excitement after performing with the band for the first time, replacing former vocalist Alissa White-Gluz. Her statement was posted on Instagram following the band’s show in Beijing.

Hart expressed her enthusiasm about the milestone performance in her first public statement since joining the metal band.

“What a dream come true. I was f*cking beaming, Beijing,” Hart said. “First show done, can’t wait until tomorrow!”

The post received positive responses from Arch Enemy fans. Supporters praised Hart’s vocal abilities and expressed excitement about her addition to the band. One fan commented on her “passion and power,” while another thanked her for joining the group and called her “an amazing vocalist.”

Hart’s debut performance marks a significant milestone in Arch Enemy’s ongoing evolution as one of melodic death metal’s most prominent acts.

Loudwire reported that Lauren Hart was officially announced as Arch Enemy’s new vocalist on February 19, 2026, following weeks of fan speculation sparked by teaser videos. The announcement came alongside the release of their new single “To the Last Breath.” The track was described as classic melodic death metal featuring chugging riffs, solos, and screams.

Hart brings considerable experience to her new role, having previously served as the vocalist for Once Human, a band that also featured Logan Mader from Machine Head and Soulfly. MetalSucks noted that she becomes the fourth lead singer in Arch Enemy’s 30-year history, following Johan Liiva (pre-2000), Angela Gossow (2000-2014), and most recently Alissa White-Gluz.

The transition comes after Alissa White-Gluz departed from Arch Enemy in November 2025. This concluded a successful four-album run that began with her debut on the band’s 2014 material following Angela Gossow’s exit. White-Gluz is now pursuing a solo project with new music set to be released via Napalm Records.

Arch Enemy founder Michael Amott praised Hart’s addition to the band in an official statement. He highlighted her exceptional qualities as both a performer and collaborator. “Connecting with Lauren has marked an important step in my journey,” Amott said. “Working with her was an exceptional experience — her remarkable voice, coupled with her dedication and professionalism, brings a rare level of excellence. I look forward to continuing the collaboration.”

Hart will continue her live debut with Arch Enemy on their upcoming European club tour this summer, titled “Back to the Root of All Evil.” This will give fans across the continent their first opportunity to witness the band’s new era in person.
