John Corabi Reacts To Mick Mars’ Veiled Message About Mötley Crüe

John Corabi commented on Mick Mars’ recent post on social media.

A few days ago, Mars talked about why his solo album is taking longer to get to people both on his X and Instagram accounts. He posted pictures showing him signing and packing new copies of his album, ‘The Other Side of Mars.’ The guitarist wrote:

“Sorry for the long wait, we had to press more records because y’all went nuclear on my web store. I feel so honored!!”

Corabi left a comment under Mars’ post, writing:

“Well Deserved buddy!!!! Congrats!!!! Just don’t get arthritis from signing!!!! lol.”

Mick’s words show that his album was really successful in sales. It also got to number one on iTunes Charts. In February, the guitarist posted on Instagram to celebrate his success:

“Woke up to finding myself at the top of the iTunes Charts and thought I must still be dreaming. I don’t know what to say. Thank you so much for your support. And thanks to iTunes and Spotify for the feature as well!”

Did Mars Send A Message To Mötley Crüe?

Many thought Mars’ recent post was a message to his old band, Mötley Crüe. Fans made criticisms about Crüe’s new song, ‘Dogs of War’ with John 5. Some noticed the difference in the band’s sound without Mars:

“Someone is missing.”

Another one said the song isn’t bad, but it doesn’t have the same feel as classic Mötley Crüe songs:

“Love the Crue and I think John 5 is amazing, but I don’t completely feel the song. It’s not bad and the guitar playing is killer, but it’s not very memorable and definitely not TFFL/SATD quality. Looking forward to more music.”

One other fan of the band wrote:

“I really love Motley Crue, it’s actually my favorite band. But damn… This song (for me) isn’t Motley Crue.”

When Mötley Crüe released ‘Dogs of War’ with its music video, Mars liked a photo of a zombie-like bass guitarist from his official X account, likely referring to Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx. The band members appear as zombie versions of themselves in the music video.
