James Hetfield and his girlfriend Adriana Gillett wore matching outfits at Metallica’s recent Helping Hands show.

“AWMH Helping Hands Concert. Watching my boyfriend take the stage at the YouTube Theater with my family by my side was so special,” Adriana wrote on Instagram, sharing some photos from the night.

She continued, “Seeing him and the other artists pour their hearts into an unbelievable performance that supports such an incredible cause made me so proud and grateful to be there around so many generous supporters. Plus everyone crushed it.”

“AWMH’s mission to give back through music—whether it’s supporting workforce education, hunger relief, or disaster response—is truly inspiring. Here’s to all the people that come together to help others! Donate today and check out the groovy stuff in the online auction!” Gillett added in her message.

Gillett posted a picture on Instagram with Hetfield in October. In the photo, they are seen at Iron Mountain Hot Springs. She wrote, “Joy of my life. He makes me the happiest gal alive.”

Gillett and Hetfield don’t often share details of their private life on social media. Hetfield divorced his wife, Francesca Tomasi, after 25 years in 2022. They separated on good terms. Hetfield and Gillett were first seen together in April last year, but her identity wasn’t revealed until a month later.

Metallica held their fourth Helping Hands Concert and Auction on December 13 in Los Angeles. The event featured performances by Sammy Hagar, SistaStrings, and Metallica.

All proceeds from tickets and the auction went to Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation, which works with various charities. Jimmy Kimmel hosted, with guests like Slash and Tom Morello.

Metallica played two sets, one acoustic and one electric, with guests like Avi Vincour, and Jeff Ament of Pearl Jam. They played ‘Low Man’s Lyric’ for the first time since 1998 and ‘The Unforgiven II’ for the first time since 2015.

The set also included songs like ‘Away From Home,’ ‘Helpless,’ ‘Hit The Lights’ with Ament, ‘If Darkness Had a Son,’ ‘Nothing Else Matters,’ ‘Orion,’ ‘The Shortest Straw,’ ‘Until It Sleeps,’ ‘Screaming Suicide,’ ‘Fuel,’ and ‘Master of Puppets.’
