Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson joined Pantera on stage on February 15 at Adidas Arena in Paris to perform the song ‘Walk.’

Fans at Pantera’s Paris show on Saturday got a special surprise when Dickinson joined them on stage. The band posted a video on Instagram showing Dickinson singing ‘Walk’ with them.

“Live tonight from Paris! We were honored to have Bruce Dickinson join us for ‘Walk,'” Pantera wrote in the caption of their Instagram post.

As expected, metal fans went crazy in the comments. Someone wrote, “You cannot get more Metal then that! That was f*cking cool!!” Another one shared, “Craziest cross over of all time.”

One other fan asked Dickinson to do the same with Avenged Sevenfold, writing, “Please do this with Avenged Sevenfold.” Another person was upset that they missed the performance, “O f*ck! Why I couldn’t be there?”

Dickinson lives in Paris with his third wife, Leana Dolci. Pantera started their 2025 European tour on January 21 in Helsinki, Finland. The band, with Philip Anselmo on vocals, Rex Brown on bass, Zakk Wylde on guitar, and Charlie Benante on drums, is joined by support acts Child Bite and Power Trip.

The new Pantera had its first show in December 2022 at Mexico’s Hell & Heaven Metal Fest. Dimebag Darrell’s close friend, Zakk Wylde, was chosen to play guitar for the reformed Pantera. Wylde had jammed with Pantera during their tours and performed with Dimebag and Vinnie Paul’s post-Pantera project, Damageplan.

“I am going to go in, learn the parts, be as faithful to what Dime did as possible, and just be me,” Wylde previously told Guitar World about replacing Darrell. “I’m gonna have fun with it, knowing that I am not expecting myself to sound like Dime, and no one else should either, which is how it is when I play with Ozzy or whatever else.”

He added, “No matter what I do, it’s going to sound like me. I can practice all I want and stay as faithful as I want, but I am never going to escape that. It’s like if Randy Rhoads were to play Eddie Van Halen’s ‘Eruption.’ No matter what he did, it would sound like Randy playing, not Eddie. You’re never going to mistake Randy for Eddie or Eddie for Randy, and it’s the same thing here with me playing Dime’s stuff.”

Pantera’s next show in Europe will be on February 18 in Glasgow, UK.
