Gojira has announced a surprise intimate concert, revealing plans for a special low-cost show in St. Louis.
The announcement centers on a newly added performance at The Sovereign on September 18, with all proceeds benefiting a local food bank. The band highlighted the charitable purpose behind the show and the impact ticket sales will have on the community.
“NEW SHOW ALERT. We’re playing ST. LOUIS on Sept 18 at The Sovereign, and this one’s a little different,” Gojira said. “ALL proceeds go to Operation Food Search, the biggest independent food bank in the city. They feed over 200,000 people a month, and they turn every dollar into six dollars of food.”
The band went on to detail the ticket price and lineup for the event.
“So come out. It’s $30, it’s going to be loud, and all of it goes to keeping people fed,” Gojira continued. “Special guest: LOCKED SHUT. TICKETS on sale today, September 11th at 1PM CDT.”

St. Louis Blues legend Bernie Federko recently volunteered alongside PNC Bank staff to help address rising demand for food assistance in the region.
