Iron Maiden’s singer Bruce Dickinson has announced his first solo concert of 2025, set for September 7 at The Town festival in São Paulo, Brazil.
The new show comes only a week after Nicko McBrain’s decision to retire from the band. On December 7, Nicko McBrain announced his decision to retire from extensive touring after 42 years. In a statement shared on Iron Maiden’s official X account, McBrain confirmed that his final performance with the band would take place that night in São Paulo, Brazil.
The drummer announced his retirement in a statement, saying he made his decision ‘after much consideration’ but would still remain a part of the Iron Maiden family. The rocker thanked his fans, family, friends, and fans.
More shows for Dickinson’s solo run are expected to be announced soon. Dickinson played his first solo show in 22 years in April this year. The last-minute ‘secret’ gigs were held on April 12 and April 13th as a warm-up for his tour in support of his recent album, ‘The Mandrake Project.’
Iron Maiden’s The Future Past World Tour 2024 ended with their concert on December 7 at Allianz Parque in São Paulo, Brazil.
