Pophouse described the partnership as rooted in a shared creative vision aimed at expanding Iron Maiden’s reach to both existing and new audiences.

“Pophouse, the pioneering global entertainment and music investment firm, is proud to formally announce its partnership with British rock band Iron Maiden, acquiring a stake in the publishing and master music rights, and the name, image, and likeness (NIL) rights,” the company said in its announcement. “Rooted in a shared creative vision, the partnership – which has been structured and developed over the last year between Pophouse and the band’s co-Manager, Andy Taylor – will enable Iron Maiden to pursue new creative ventures that connect with existing fans as well as bringing their extensive catalogue to new audiences.”

Iron Maiden Manager Rod Smallwood expressed enthusiasm about the opportunities the deal unlocks for the band going forward.

“I am very excited about our relationship with Pophouse and the ability we now have to pursue, facilitate, and finance our many plans and dreams quicker than we ever hoped,” Smallwood said. “The interest in the band has never been bigger and this strategic partnership, which we’ve been quietly working together on now for over a year, has already had results with the progress on the Infinite Dreams Museum and the filming of the current show.”

The partnership is already yielding tangible results, including progress on the Infinite Dreams Museum and the filming of Iron Maiden’s current live show.

The deal extends well beyond music rights, encompassing some of the band’s most iconic intellectual property. The agreement explicitly includes rights to Iron Maiden’s legendary mascot Eddie, the ghoulish character who has been central to the band’s visual identity for over four decades.

Plans for the collaboration include an interactive fan attraction and a new digital universe centered around Eddie. These projects signal Pophouse’s intent to transform Iron Maiden’s legacy into a broader entertainment ecosystem, reaching audiences well beyond traditional music consumption.

Pophouse is no stranger to high-profile catalog acquisitions. The Swedish firm was co-founded by ABBA’s Björn Ulvaeus. It previously acquired KISS’s catalog in 2024 and has built a portfolio that includes the rights of Tina Turner, Cyndi Lauper, and Avicii. Iron Maiden represents the latest addition to that growing roster.

Pophouse has established a clear pattern of pairing catalog ownership with immersive fan experiences. This strategy is most visibly demonstrated through its involvement in ABBA’s acclaimed London hologram show, Voyage. The Iron Maiden partnership follows the same blueprint, with live concert filming and interactive attractions already underway.

For Iron Maiden, the deal provides the financial firepower to accelerate projects the band has long envisioned. The band boasts one of the most dedicated fanbases in rock history and a catalog spanning more than 40 years. The partnership positions them to expand their cultural footprint in ways that go far beyond recorded music.
