Quiet Riot has announced that they have officially welcomed a new vocalist into the band, though his identity has not yet been revealed, according to a post on Instagram.
The announcement addressed the band’s upcoming lineup changes and confirmed that longtime friend Jason McMaster will fill in on vocals for two shows before the new singer makes his debut.
“We’re excited to announce that we have officially welcomed our new vocalist into the band!” the band said. “He will make his live debut with us this October, and we’ll be revealing his identity very soon.”
The statement went on to thank the temporary fill-in vocalist for stepping up on short notice.
“In the meantime, we’d like to give a huge thank you to our longtime friend Jason McMaster, who will be stepping in on vocals for two upcoming shows: August 29 – Tower, MN, September 5 – Uncasville, CT,” the band continued. “We’re incredibly grateful to Jason for jumping in and helping us keep these shows on the books for our fans.
