Gary Holt Announces Exodus’ 2021 Tour Dates With Testament And Death Angel

Exodus’ Gary Holt has recently shared an announcement on his Instagram page revealing the dates for the U.S. leg of The Bay Strikes Back Tour featuring Bay Area thrash bands Testament and Death Angel.

All three of the bands, Exodus, Testament, Death Angel, had to cancel their tour programs due to COVID-19 back in 2020 since the Death Angel drummer Will Caroll had contracted COVID during the tour which made him go into a coma. Apart from Caroll, Exodus’ Gary Holt and Testament’s Chuck Billy were also infected but made a rather smooth recovery contrary to Will.

Now after all they have been through, they are hitting the road again for the long-awaited tour. The tour will kick off on October 6 after Testament’s Blue Ridge Rock Fest appearance on September 9 in Danville, VA. On October 7, the band will also appear at Sacramento’s Aftershock Festival but apart from these two instances, the other dates are regular performances. The tour appears to kick off properly on October 6 and last for a month, ending on November 27. It is known that some of the dates are rescheduled tour dates for Testament’s previous tour, and tickets purchased for that past tour will be valid for the shows.

In a recent Instagram post, Gary Holt has announced the dates for U.S. leg of The Bay Strikes Back Tour. In the caption, Holt mentioned that he is super excited to hit the stage again, and the shows are going to be epic. He then added that Exodus will not perform in the Danville VA show as well as the Las Vegas show.

Gary Holt said in the post that:

“Yes! Tour time! Super excited to hit the stage again!! Bringing the Bay Strikes Back to our own shores! Going to be epic! Note! Exodus are not playing the Danville VA show and Las Vegas as well. Bring it on!”
