Foreigner Get Ready To Bid Farewell With One Last Tour

Despite numerous changes in their lineup, Foreigner has been making music and touring worldwide for almost five decades. However, all good things come to an end. Recently, the band announced that they are ready to take the stage for the final time to bid farewell to their long-time fans.
Although Mick Jones’ health issues worried the Foreigner fans, he is now in good shape to get on the stage for the last time with the band. As reported by Rolling Stone, the band is getting ready to embark on a 2023 farewell tour, kicking off on July 6 at the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Atlanta and concluding on September 3 at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey. In a recent statement, Jones expressed his feelings about hitting the road with Foreigner for the last time.
“Many years ago, I wrote a song called ‘Feels Like The First Time,’ and today we are launching one last worldwide tour,” said Mick Jones about the highly-anticipated tour. “We will be presenting a show I know will have the same enthusiasm as our first appearances.”
He continued by giving more details about Foreigner’s upcoming shows, saying, “The tour will start this summer in America, and we hope to get to every place we have played over the last several years. While I’m sure our fans will have mixed feelings about the end of the road for the band, I know our shows will delight audiences everywhere.”
Tickets for Foreigner’s 2023 Farewell tour will be on sale on November 18, and fans can get them via Ticketmaster. According to Billboard, the summer dates won’t be the last time fans will see the band perform. The additional dates spanning through the end of 2024 will be announced by the band soon, and fans in other parts of the world will also meet their favorite band for the final time.
