Flea Says John Frusciante Is The Best Guitarist He Knows
Red Hot Chili Peppers’ bass guitarist Flea recently posted a tweet on his official Twitter account and revealed who is the best guitarist, according to him.
Flea is a musician and actor who is mainly known as the bassist of Red Hot Chili Peppers. Apart from his career in the band, Flea briefly worked as the bassist of various bands, has performed with several rock supergroups, and collaborated with a great number of artists. So, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that he has a pretty prolific music career as a talented bassist.
When asked about their favorite guitar players, most guitarists mention the ones from different bands other than theirs. In a recent tweet, Reverend And The Makers asked their followers the best guitarist they know. As a response, Flea went against the stream and said John Frusciante is the best guitarist he knows.
John Frusciante is also the Red Hot Chili Peppers fans’ favorite. He has been working with Red Hot Chili Peppers until he abruptly left the band due to the pressure of being famous in 1992. In 1998, he rejoined the band after Dave Navarro’s departure but left again in 2009 to focus on his solo career. From that time on, fans impatiently awaited the guitarist’s possible return.
In 2019, Frusciante excited the RHCP fans when he returned the band as Josh Klinghopper’s replacement. Following the good news, the band thrilled the fans more by announcing a new album with Frusciante. The album is almost completed, and fans are looking forward to seeing Frusciante perform with RHCP again.
Reverend and the Makers’ tweet read:
“Best guitarist you know? Go!”
Flea then responded with an answer simple as that:
