British legend Elton John recently answered some of the LADbible audience’s questions at Abbey Road Studios in London with his collaborator Charlie Puth. When the duo was asked their biggest inspiration, John instantly said it’s his husband David Furnish and opened up about their relationship.
Elton John and filmmaker David Furnish first met in 1993 during a house party in London. The two were instantly drawn to each other, and their passionate relationship started off pretty rapidly. Twelve years after meeting, the musician proposed to his future husband at a dinner party at one of their Windsor homes in May 2005.
They were actually one of the first British couples to form a civil partnership. Once gay marriage became legal in the United Kingdom in March 2014, they got officially married in Windsor, Berkshire, on December 21, 2014, the ninth anniversary of their civil partnership.
The couple has two beautiful sons together, the elder named Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John who was born via surrogacy on December 25, 2010 in California. The younger named Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John was also born via the same surrogate on January 11, 2013.
The power couple has been growing stronger nearly for the last three decades rather than getting bored of each other, according to the musician. Their official Instagram profiles are filled with adorable family pictures, showing what a happy family they are with an unbreakable bond, and fans just love them.
During a recent Q&A interview with his fellow musician Charlie Puth with whom he released ‘After All,’ the duo was asked about their biggest inspiration. Elton John gave the most romantic answer he possibly could and said it’s his family but particularly his husband without a doubt.
John also admitted that living with him can be challenging since he can be low-spirited and have self-doubt from time to time. His husband, on the other hand, knows exactly how to handle those situations and talks him through those tough times. Furthermore, John said that he doesn’t who how he would end up if it weren’t for his husband.
When asked his biggest inspiration, Elton said:
“My husband David without a question, and m two children, but David. Living with me is not easy sometimes because artists can be very moody, and they have self-doubt. He’s very good at talking things over with me and making me see sense. If I didn’t have him, I don’t know where I would be.”
