Sammy Hagar Gets Arrested On Stage As The Opening Show

The Circle frontman Sammy Hagar got arrested by the police during the opening show before his gig.

Apart from being a successful musician, Sammy Hagar is also an entrepreneur. He currently has a restaurant chain named Cabo Wabo, with several branches in LA, Hollywood, and Mexico. The Red Rocker also celebrates his birthdays with dazzling shows in his restaurants, and he calls these events ‘Birthday Bashes.’

Although Hagar’s birthday bashes almost always took place in Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, this year’s event will be in Catalina due to the pandemic. Recently, the musician announced that he will celebrate his birthday with his band The Circle with a setlist including several Van Halen songs. In the video he posted on his Instagram, he also revealed that the event will take place on October 9. Hagar then told his fans that they can also watch it live on Nugs.

In a recent tweet, Sammy Hagar revealed that he got arrested by the police before the gig at his birthday bash. However, this turned out to be just a stage show rather than an actual arrest. The musician noted that he had fun with the actor who got him to and from the concert. Hagar then revealed that what appears in the video was just acting, and praised Sheriff Justin Martin by saying he is such a superstar in Catalina.

According to the video he posted, it seems The Red Rocker has an entertaining sense of humor. In the video, Hagar is going near the officer and asking him how he is doing. The police officer says he has to place him under arrest. Hagar then asks him what he did, and the officer tells him he is guilty of throwing a big party in Catalina. After hearing that, Hagar surrenders and says he is ‘guilty as charged.’

Sammy Hagar’s tweet read:

“I had so much fun with this guy all weekend taking care of me, getting me to and from the gig, etc. I had to do some acting here to get him into the pay-per-view. Sheriff Justin Martin is a superstar on Catalina. Watch tonight at Nugs.”

In the video, Hagar tells the officer:

“What are you doing here? How are you, Sir?”

The officer says:

“Hello, sir. I’m going to have to place you under arrest, Mr. Hagar.”

Hagar responds to him:

“What did I do?”

The officer explains:

“You’re throwing too big of a party in Catalina Island.”

Hagar then says:

Guilty as charged.
