Fear Factory’s Dino Cazares recently addressed the possibility of reuniting with former bandmates. He made it clear that such collaborations will not happen in the future. His statement was shared on X (formerly Twitter).

The guitarist’s message focused on closing the door permanently on any potential reunion with past members of the metal band.

“I don’t hold any hatred toward any former members, but to be clear, I will not be working with them again, I’m sure the feeling is mutual,” Cazares said.

He continued with a definitive stance on moving forward.

“What’s done is done, and that chapter is permanently closed,” he stated. “I’ve moved forward and remain focused on the present and the future. I sincerely hope they have done the same. Respectfully.”

Cazares’ firm position stems from a complex history of legal and business disputes that have plagued the band for years.

Blunt Magazine reported that the guitarist’s stance is rooted in past lawsuits and business disputes with former members. Former Fear Factory members Christian Olde Wolbers and Raymond Herrera filed lawsuits over unpaid monies. This led to subsequent legal entanglements that included bankruptcy proceedings. These financial complications made any potential reconciliation financially unworkable for the band.

The legal battles extended to trademark ownership issues as well. Cazares won an auction for former vocalist Burton C. Bell’s 50 percent share of the Fear Factory trademark. After this, he made efforts to bring Bell back into the fold. He offered Bell a revenue-sharing arrangement to rejoin the band, but Bell ultimately declined the offer. This further cemented the divide between current and former members.

Despite the turbulent past, Fear Factory has successfully moved forward with fresh talent. Blabbermouth noted that the band’s current lineup features vocalist Milo Silvestro and drummer Pete Webber, who officially joined in February 2023. The new members have brought renewed energy to the group alongside Cazares and bassist Tony Campos.

The band is actively preparing for their future with this new configuration. Metal Injection revealed that Fear Factory is set to release a new studio album in 2026 via Nuclear Blast. This marks their first release with Silvestro and Webber. This upcoming album represents a new chapter for the band as they continue to evolve their sound with the latest additions to their lineup.

This statement appears to put an end to any speculation about a Fear Factory reunion with former members.
