Hagar’s message described the immediate impact of the storm on his business and staff, as he relayed updates from a colleague on the ground.
“Prayers for Cabo this is two hours ago downtown,” Hagar said. “The Cabo Wabo closed earlier and sent all the employees home to their families. It may be a couple days before we can get things cleaned up and open the doors again. Jorge is giving me updates which I will share with you if anything changes.”
Hagar followed up with a further update on the situation, noting the lack of available information as local officials assess the damage.
“Unfortunately, no reports or video from Cabo,” he continued. “The last I heard from Jorge was ‘everything is a disaster.’ Waiting on the Mayor of Cabo to make a statement.”
