Hollywood Vampires’ Johnny Depp Finally Finds Peace Away From ‘Fans’

Being a rock star is not easy. The lifestyle requires a lot of sacrifices, and when those sacrifices start to interfere with one’s personality, it’s time to take action. This is exactly what the iconic musician and actor Johnny Depp did to bring himself back to who he is and find some peace of mind.

Hollywood Vampires star Johnny Depp recently spoke about his radical decision to move to the countryside in Britain named Somerset. He bought a house there and is living there to give his mind some peace from Hollywood insanity. The musician said that every house he buys is special to him, and the prominence of this place is that he has a decent amount of privacy with his family.

In a recent interview with the local magazine Somerset Life, the musician stated that he has no problem with meeting fans and briefly chatting with them but that he is not very tolerant when it comes to fans going over the top to be in contact with him. Knowing all the crazy fan stories in the celebrity world, Johnny knows that he has the right to feel private, relaxed, and safe.

He said:

“I just love places with character. I have various houses in various places, and they all mean something special to me. I don’t have them just to say I own them; I have them for use and because they are a bit special.

British people are cool and will greet you as if you are a neighbor without going over the top. I don’t mind if people want an autograph or a brief chat, but not when I am having some private time with my family.

I can go into shops without being surrounded by people wanting selfies. I don’t mind that up to a point, but sometimes it gets a little too crowded.

In his new place, he can roam around and get his chores done in shops without being interrupted, and he seems to enjoy this life currently. Especially after his widely publicized trial with his ex-wife Amber Heard, the musician needed some time to live a normal life away from the public eye.
