Dan Reynolds Once Again Worries Imagine Dragons Fans About His Mental State

It has been five days since Imagine Dragons’ lead vocalist Dan Reynolds posted an IGTV of himself singing their song ‘It’s Ok’ from the band’s new album ‘Mercury – Act I.’ His fans are now worried about his state of mental health as he did not post anything else after that melancholic video.

Imagine Dragons released their fifth studio album ‘Mercury – Act I’ on September 3, 2021, and it was described as an album based upon themes like loss, loneliness, and grief. The frontman talked about his songs in the album and stated that especially the tracks ‘Giants’ and ‘Easy Come Easy Go’ were very hard for him to release because they have special meanings for him.

He is an introverted singer with millions of fans, and thus when he posted an emotional video singing ‘It’s Ok,’ he received many comments and messages. Not only is he a shy person, but he also doesn’t feel comfortable sharing personal stuff, and he had previously told Forbes that this is why he has never been into doing ‘rockstar shit.’

Knowing his personality, his fans commented on his recent IGTV video, asking if he was doing alright. They stated their worries about him and the lyrics he had written for his new album. He had captioned the video with only ‘it’s ok to be not ok,’ and has disappeared from Instagram since then.

This is what Dan said in the caption of the video:

“It’s ok to be not ok.”

Here is a fan’s comment:

“I know it’s ok not to be ok, per se, but… are you ok?”

Another fan offered help by stating:

Are you okay though, Dan? I know music careers can be tough and not-so rainbows and butterflies. I don’t know if this is weird or not, but if you need someone to talk to, just a stranger to vent and listen. I’m here.”

A fan commented on the songs in the new album and stated their concern:

“Dan, are you and the guys okay? I’ve been listening to the album non-stop, and some of the songs are definitely concerning, to say the least. I love the music, y’all have got me through really really hard times, and I can’t wait to see you live in March. I just wanna make sure you are all okay.”

It is known that many rockstars are battling serious mental health problems because of their lifestyle, and his fans wanted to prevent him from feeling alone by showing him the support he might need.
