Corey Taylor’s Wife Alicia On Their Marriage, ‘I Fell In Love With His Mind’

Corey Taylor’s wife and Cherry Bombs’ founder, Alicia Taylor, shared her feelings about her husband and their passionate relationship in her recent interview with Alamo True Metal. Taylor revealed the singer’s characteristics that made her fall in love with him.

After Corey Taylor divorced Stephanie Luby, with whom he was married for almost a decade, both his fans and magazine journalists started to wonder about his new girlfriend considering the Slipknot frontman’s charm and charisma. In 2019, Taylor surprised everyone with an engagement announcement on his official Instagram account. He was engaged to professional dance Alicia Dove, and the couple tied the knot on October 6, 2019.

Recently, Alicia Taylor talked about how the singer proposed to her and stated that he asked her to marry him in their kitchen, which was a very humble move. Since then, they have been pursuing a happy marriage, and both of them have always supported each other’s projects and careers. During her interview, the famous dancer unveiled what she likes the most about her husband, saying that Taylor is intelligent and a geek.

Alicia Taylor added that the Slipknot frontman has knowledge and interest in many different things such as movies, music, books, sports, and many more. She emphasized Taylor’s mastery of speech and writing; therefore, they could talk almost about everything nonstop, which she defined as a great way of spending time and connecting more. The Cherry Bombs founder stated that she’s in love with his mind and intelligence.

Taylor said in her interview that:

“The first thing that I fell in love with of Corey was his mind. He’s so well-read. He could talk about anything, and his interests were all over the place. I love that about him. I love his intelligence. I love his ability to write and speak so well; he’s extremely articulate. I love that he’s a little geeky and a little nerdy. And he loves movies, and he loves music, and he loves sports, and he loves so many things.

He’s so well-rounded in that aspect. So he and I would just talk about anything and everything and just find something — even if it was something that maybe I wasn’t into. He was really into, or he wasn’t really into, but I was into, we could still talk about it and find something cool about it within one another.”
