The guitarist is back from her hiatus and is ready to hit the road in late April for Alice Cooper‘s new tour. Nita Strauss took to Twitter to give the big news to fans that she will be back to rocking with the godfather of shock rock after going on tour with Demi Lovato for her ‘Holy Fvck’ tour last year.
Strauss had previously shared with fans that her decision to join Demi Lovato last summer was not a departure from Alice Cooper but rather a hiatus. Cooper was very supportive of her decision to create new adventures in her career. Strauss also made a point to confirm that she would be delighted to get on stage with Demi when the time comes.
However, the guitarist announced that she was officially back as Cooper’s sidekick on the road for the upcoming tour. Cooper also took to Instagram to explain that Nita was back with him after his encouraging words to take on a new challenge. He also thanked Kane Roberts, who took over Strauss’s spot to carry out the fall tour last year.

“It’s true!! I’ll be back on the road with Alice Cooper extravaganza this year, starting with the first shows in April. LET THE NIGHTMARE RETURN! Make sure and tune into Nights with Alice Cooper on March 21 for a very special surprise.”
She added:
“Demi has been keeping very busy (in fact, I saw some studio pictures with Alice himself, how cool is that!), and when the time comes, I will be beyond excited to join her and the band on stage again!”

“She’s Back! Nita asked for a leave of absence to work with someone else, something I always encourage my band members to do. I like them to challenge themselves and try new things. I’m thankful to my old friend Kane Roberts for stepping up and filling in for her, but she’ll be back with us for the new tour starting in late April. It’s going to be great to have her back!”
“Make sure to tune into Nights with Alice Cooper on 3/21 for a special surprise! The Alice Cooper North American tour, with an all-new show dubbed ‘Too Close For Comfort,’ kicks off in late April in Michigan and continues through late September, including a handful of August stadium shows with Def Leppard & Mötley Crüe followed by a co-headlining late summer ‘Freaks On Parade’ tour with Rob Zombie.”
Alice and Nita also pointed out a surprise for fans. They encouraged them to tune into Nights with Alice Cooper before the much anticipated all-new show, ‘ Too Close For Comfort,’ kicks off in late April until late September. So get ready to see Strauss and Cooper back on stage together once again!
