Slaughter to Prevail frontman Alex Terrible recently shared a video showing his injured face after his Bare Knuckle FC fight loss. He addressed his defeat and explained why his band didn’t perform during the event in a statement posted on Instagram.

The statement focused on his fight loss against Cameron Delano and his disappointment about being prevented from performing at the venue.

“Alright guys. Yes, I lost. I’m sad. I’m f*cking sad. But at the same time, I don’t feel shame. Because I believe I did everything I could do. And Cameron, respect. You hit like a f*cking bull. Look at my face,” Alex Terrible said.

He continued to explain his original plans for the event and reassure fans about upcoming performances.

“And my plan was to perform before the fight and after the fight. But the venue said no. I could do that easily. Even with this face. So Rockville and Sonic Temple, don’t stress. I’ll be there. I will give you my energy %100. And I’ll see you there,” he continued.

The frontman concluded by acknowledging the event and his critics.

“Respect for all the fighters yesterday. For all the bands played yesterday. I believe we made the history guys. Thank you for your support. Haters, this is your best day in your f*cking life. My ass got whooped,” he said.

The fight took place during what proved to be a historic night for both combat sports and heavy metal music crossover events.

SI.com reported that Alex Terrible (real name: Aleksandr Shikolay) made his Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship debut in the main event light heavyweight bout against Cameron Delano at BKFC Blood 4 Blood on May 7, 2026. Delano won by TKO in Round 3 at 0:29, capping off what was described as a “perfect card” with all fights ending in knockouts.

The fight itself was characterized as a “bloody war.” SI.com noted that Delano scored one knockdown per round. Round 1 featured a controversial ruling that was deemed a slip. Round 2 saw a definitive knockdown. Round 3 ended with the finish via a right hand that led to the TKO victory.

Despite his loss, Alex Terrible did manage to perform with Slaughter to Prevail before the main event. BKFC’s official event page confirmed this performance kicked off the heavy metal crossover theme that made the event unique in combat sports history. The event successfully merged the worlds of extreme music and bare-knuckle fighting, creating what many considered a groundbreaking spectacle.

The defeat updates Alex Terrible’s professional fighting record. BKFC now lists him with a 0-1 record following his debut loss. Despite the setback, sources noted that Shikolay “proved he belongs in the ring” even in defeat, suggesting his performance earned respect from the combat sports community despite the outcome.
