Liam Gallagher Offered ‘A Lot Of Money’ To Noel Gallagher For A Tour

In a recent interview with MOJO, Liam Gallagher talked about a potential reunion with his brother Noel for the 30th anniversary of ‘Definitely Maybe.’ Liam confirmed a significant amount of money was offered to his brother. He shared Noel’s response to the deal:

“I did call him! Well, my people called Noel’s management team. We put an offer on the table for an Oasis thing – because we got offered it – and he said no. It was a big tour and a lot of money. He turned it down. I get it; he’s got a divorce going down. I’ll do the Definitely Maybe thing and have a nice time without him.”

While the Oasis fans have been waiting for a reunion, Noel’s latest response shattered all hope once again. Even though Liam accused his brother of preventing the reunion plans, Noel also claimed he wasn’t the one who should be blamed.

Who Is Responsible For Preventing The Oasis Reunion?

Liam and Noel Gallagher have been the two sides of one of the longest feuds in rock music. When it comes to the Oasis reunion, the two have something in common: blaming the other person. Last year, in an interview with Seattle’s 98.9 KPNW, Noel explained why Liam was the real problem preventing the reunion. The singer stated:

“He’s going to have to call me. He’s going to have to get someone to call me because he’s been going on about it for the last f*cking 10, or whatever it is. He doesn’t want it, and he knows that neither of us is particularly fucking interested in it. I know he doesn’t want it, and I’m very comfortable with what I do… But he keeps going on about it, and I’m like, ‘Well, okay. Call us then. Let’s see what you’ve got to say.'”
