Wolfgang Van Halen Says ‘It’s Really Tough Being Here Without You’ To Father Eddie

Bass guitarist Wolfgang Van Halen celebrated the 66th birthday of his father, Eddie Van Halen, by sharing a new post on his official Instagram account.

As you might recall, Van Halen’s co-founder and guitarist is also known for his crazy tapping techniques besides his awesome work with the band. Unfortunately in October 2020, he passed away due to a stroke at the age of 65.

Wolfgang wanted to share a public message to his father and wanted to pay his tribute to him. Also, Wolf stated that there is not a second he spent without thinking about Eddie and showed how much he missed his father.

Furthermore, Wolfgang mentioned that he doesn’t really know how to put his feelings into words and said that he is doing his best to keep things together, but it’s so hard to do without Eddie.

Here is what Wolfgang Van Halen said:

“Happy 66th Birthday, Pop. I wish I could give you the biggest hug and celebrate it with you. I love and miss you so much it hurts. I don’t even know how to put it into words.

I’m doing my best to hold it together, but goddammit it’s really tough being here without you. Not a second has gone by where you haven’t been on my mind, and today will be no different.

Love and miss you beyond words, Pop.”
