Vicky Cornell Shares Emotional Feelings About Chris’ Birthday

Vicky Cornell celebrated the birthday of her late husband Chris Cornell, who would have been 57 if he were still alive, by sharing a new post on her official Instagram account.

Chris Cornell was the lead singer of Soundgarden as well as Audioslave, and he was considered as one of the best vocalists in his genre. After performing in a highly successful show at Fox Theatre back in 2017, Chris’ body was found in his hotel room the next morning. The authorities stated that nobody went in or came out from Chris’ suite and confirmed that Chris’ death cause was suicide by hanging. The iconic singer passed away at the age of 52, leaving three kids and a wife behind.

On this special day, Vicky wanted to express her feelings as if she were directly talking with Chris. In the caption, Vicky touched upon the fact that she loves and misses him every single day. Furthermore, she confessed that a part of her still thinks she will wake up one day and Chris will be alive as if he never left, and said she will always be waiting for her husband.

On the other hand, Chris’ daughter Toni Cornell also shared a heart-warming video of Chris in which he can be seen playing guitar with Toni when she was a kid and this video made everybody tear up. Toni expressed how much she has missed Chris by saying that there are no words that could describe her feelings. Moreover, Toni said that Chris made her who she is right now although they spent only a little bit of time together.

Vicky Cornell wrote:

“Happy Birthday baby, I love you and miss you so very much. I think a part of me kept thinking I would wake up one day and you would be here and everything would be as it always was. You are my heart and my world… I will always be waiting.”

Toni Cornell said:

“Happy birthday daddy. There are no words to describe how much I miss you and how much I wish you were here with me.

Although I had you for a short time, your endless and unconditional love has impacted my life in so many ways, and will live on forever in my heart. You made me who I am, and I am perpetually grateful for everything you have given me. I love you so much.”
