Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider Slams All Anti-Semites

Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider recently took to his Twitter and targeted anti-Semites with harsh words after witnessing some unpleasant scenes on the streets.

According to a new study conducted by Tel Aviv University, there is a sharp rise in the number of anti-Semitic incidents all around the world but especially in the United States. The report argues that radical left and right-wing political movements and also social media are among the main factors that have caused such a dramatic increase in discriminatory statements toward Jewish people.

The United States has the largest Jewish population outside of Israel, so it is not so surprising that the Jewish community living there is subject to more hate speech. Many Jewish artists publicly talk about it and condemn any anti-Semitic statements, as they did in Kanye West’s situation. A Twitter user recently wrote that she felt so sad witnessing the rise of anti-Semitism in the United States.

Upon seeing that tweet, Dee Snider stepped into the conversation and said that, as a Jewish person, he completely understood how she felt. Then, the singer recalled driving around Fort Lauderdale the last few days and seeing the police near the Jewish neighborhoods and synagogues, which made him disgusted. Snider went further and said he seriously hopes all anti-Semites contract cancer and die slowly.

The Twitter user’s post read:

“I have been feeling down. I escaped the Soviet Union and was able to bring my mom and dad, both survivors. And now I’m witnessing the rise of antisemitism right here, at my doorstep.”

Dee Snider’s reply:

“I hear you. Spent yesterday and today driving around Fort Lauderdale Florida, and to see police stationed in Jewish neighborhoods and outside synagogues was disgusting. I hope all anti-semites get cancer and die slow horrible deaths. Seriously.”
