In a new conversation with Entertainment Tonight during Spotify’s Best New Artist Party last week, Travis Barker’s son Landon opened up about his reluctance to hold his newborn half-brother, Rocky, shared with stepmother Kourtney Kardashian.
Despite the joy surrounding the arrival of Rocky on November 1, Landon confessed he has yet to hold the little one. He initially said the following, praising the family’s newest addition:
“It’s been amazing, it’s been great.”
Opening Up About Baby Fears

However, upon further questioning, Landon delved deeper into his hesitations:
“OK, let me get down deep into it. I’m a little bit scared of babies. I have a baby fear. I feel like giving him until one; they are just so fragile, you know what I’m saying. I love him; he’s the most adorable baby ever, though.”
He shared that baby Rocky, although not yet three months old, has already begun to make small sounds, saying:
“He talks a little bit. It’s been amazing; it’s been amazing. I love Kourtney; obviously. Me and my dad are extremely close, so I’m happy for them.”
Changing Dynamics

Reflecting on the family dynamics, Landon recollected his previous comments about wanting to remain the ‘only Barker boy,’ a statement he expressed before Rocky’s birth. Despite his initial disappointment over not having a baby sister, Landon now embraces his role as a big brother.
Travis and Kardashian announced they were having a boy at a grand gender reveal party in June, and they introduced Rocky to the world with his first photos in December, seven weeks following his birth.
In addition to Landon, Travis Barker is a father to a daughter, Alabama, and remains a figure in the life of his ex-wife Shanna Moakler’s daughter, Atiana. Kourtney Kardashian also brings three children from her previous relationship with Scott Disick into the family.
