Travis Barker‘s healing process is taking hopeful turns for Blink-182 fans, as the drummer recently posted updates on his health condition. In a recent Instagram story and a tweet, Barker excited his fans about his recovery before the reunion tour.
After hurting his finger twice on the same spot during the rehearsals of the Blink-182 tour, Barker had to get surgery to fix the problem, and the upcoming shows had to be canceled and postponed to a further date. However, in a recent post he shared almost a week ago, the musician gave his fans a glimpse of his fast recovery, bringing joy and hope.
Now, with a more recent post on Twitter and a video on Instagram, the drummer hinted at a quick improvement in his health, which might affect the tour dates. At least, this is what the fans hope since there are no official announcements yet.
While Barker shared a video that displays the moment his doctor got his stitches out on his Instagram story, he informed his followers on Twitter through a text message. Although his tweet was short, it was enough to arouse positive feedback from the fans.
On Twitter, the musician wrote:
“Got my stitches out today.”
Upon this, his followers, waiting for his and Blink-182’s return to the stage with a reunion tour, shared their good wishes and excitement for a possible rearrangement of the dates. They expressed their hope for the shows to start at a close time to the original schedule with joyous and humorous tones.
One fan wrote under the drummer’s tweet as follows:
“I hope you’re healing well, and I hope you’re able to be back out on the road soon!”
Another follower shared their thoughts with a drum emoji as follows:
“Road to recovery starts now!”
Blink-182 drummer is still in the recovery process, which will take a while despite his fast healing, but based on his hopeful updates, it won’t be long before he is back on the stage with the rest of the band. His fans are excited for him to fully improve his health to return to the back of the drum kit for the reunion tour.
