Tracii Guns Thinks Touring With Nikki Sixx Would Be ‘Gross’

A few days ago, Nikki Sixx answered a question on Twitter and said Mötley Crüe and Guns N’ Roses would ‘destroy the world‘ if they toured together. Another account recently reshared the bassist’s tweet, misunderstanding the ‘Guns’ Sixx was referring to, and Tracii Guns responded by saying:

“Gross.”

Then, a fan recalled the past issues between him and Sixx as follows:

“I guess Nikki forgot the bullshit he did to Tracii during their Brides of Destruction days? You don’t f*ck people over then think they’re still cool with you.”

The L.A. Guns guitarist answered:

“I didn’t forget.”

The two musicians’ relationship got tense after Sixx said Guns ripped money off of him during their time in Brides of Destruction. Despite this, the guitarist expressed love for the bassist’s music during his 2022 interview with Alabama Life & Culture.

He also talked about their past by saying:

“There was a lot of that going back and forth between Nikki and me. He liked L.A. Guns, and I liked Mötley Crüe. As much as I have a f*cked-up relationship with Nikki, and I don’t care at this point, I love that music. I love that image.”

Admitting the Mötley Crüe bassist’s effect on L.A. Guns, the guitarist added:

“If it weren’t for him and his vision for that band, I wouldn’t have done L.A. Guns. I might not even be a successful musician if not for that band. That is the truth.”

Guns’ band dropped their latest album, ‘Black Diamonds,’ a few months ago. To support it, they are set to go out on tour in August. At the same time, Mötley Crüe has an ongoing world tour with Def Leppard and a new album in the works.
