Skid Row is currently looking for a permanent vocalist.

Since Erik Grönwall left due to health issues, the band has been taking things slow, playing a few live shows with Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale as a temporary solution. However, while Sebastian Bach believes he will soon be reunited with Skid Row, it doesn’t seem like the rest of the members are keen on reuniting with him.

“Right now we’re actively auditioning vocalists. We’ve had a few good guys. We’ve got a couple of people coming down [to audition] in November,” Rachel Bolan said during an interview with Loudwire Nights.

Bolan also mentioned that more celebrity collaborations might happen after the positive response to their work with Hale: “Yeah, we may do some more celebrity collabs, ’cause a few of our famous friends are, like, ‘I like that Lzzy stuff.’ And they’re, like, ‘I wanna do that.’ And we’re, like, ‘Okay, cool. Let’s try it out.’ The whole thing is just when they’re not touring.”

“And so that’s a possibility too, that we’re gonna do stuff like that, [do some shows with] more of our famous friends while we audition someone for a permanent spot,” he added.

Bach tried to reach out and reunite with his former bandmates many times, but all of them failed. The rocker extended an olive branch to Scotti Hill with a social media post, saying that it had been a long time since they were in a room together. However, Hill didn’t respond to the post.

Dave Snake Sabo also doesn’t think a reunion with Bach is possible. “It’s not gonna happen,” he said in a chat. “And I say the same thing every time. I’m thankful that people have such an interest in wanting to see that happen, but I also have to reiterate that this is about being happy in the situation that you’re in. So I’ll speak for myself personally.”

It’s unclear whether Bach will keep insisting on a reunion with his former bandmates, but it’s clear as day that the members are looking for someone new.
