Sebastian Bach’s wife Suzanne Le Bach recently shared her thoughts on her husband taking over Dee Snider’s spot for some of the Twisted Sister reunion shows. She expressed her excitement in a statement posted on Instagram.

Her reaction came after Snider had to step down from certain performances due to health issues. Bach stepped in to fill the legendary vocalist’s shoes.

“I can’t think of a more perfect or deserving person to get this coveted gig of filling the great Dee Snider of Twisted Sister shoes no other than my husband, Sebastian Bach,” she said. “Although no one will ever replace Dee’s incredible voice and Twisted Sister will never be the same without Dee, but at least we’ll all get to have fun and enjoy the music live with Sebastian on vocals.”

Suzanne Le Bach continued to express her gratitude to the band members for giving her husband this opportunity.

“I know that Sebastian being a huge fan of Twisted Sister, he’s going to make Dee and Suzette proud, love you both,” she continued. “With huge respect and gratitude, thank you so much, Dee and Suzette Snider, Jay Jay French, and Eddie Ojeda for giving Sebastian this dream come true opportunity. I know he’s ready to rock your iconic and anthemic rock songs!”

This significant development comes at a crucial time for both artists and their respective fan bases. It marks an unexpected collaboration between two major figures in heavy metal history.

Recent reports indicated that Snider’s health issues stem from a diagnosis of aortic stenosis that required him to limit his stage time, as he announced in early 2026. The condition affects the heart’s ability to pump blood effectively. This makes the physical demands of live performance particularly challenging for the 71-year-old vocalist.

Bach’s selection for this role isn’t entirely surprising given his history with the band. Music industry sources confirmed that Bach, a longtime Twisted Sister fan, once guested on their 2006 track “Never Say Die.” This established direct ties to the band that go beyond mere admiration. This previous collaboration demonstrated his ability to complement the band’s signature sound.

The upcoming performances represent a significant moment for Twisted Sister fans worldwide. Concert promoters announced that the reunion shows are set for summer 2026 at festivals in Europe. These shows mark Twisted Sister’s first performances since their 2016 farewell tour. The band had previously stated that tour would be their final goodbye to live performance.

This development allows Twisted Sister fans to continue experiencing the band’s classic songs live. Bach brings his own powerful vocals to the iconic tracks while honoring the legacy that Snider built over decades of metal excellence.
