Savatage fans have been eagerly awaiting the band’s return to U.S. stages. More details about potential tour dates and venues will be announced as plans develop.

The potential tour announcement coincides with several significant developments in the band’s recent history.

Reports from Metal Archives indicate that Savatage is working on their highly anticipated new album “Curtain Call.” This release would be their first studio album since 2001’s “Poets and Madmen.” The album’s timeline aligns with the proposed tour schedule.

The band’s legacy extends over four decades. Brothers Jon and Criss Oliva founded the group in Florida in 1979. Data from Blabbermouth shows their groundbreaking albums “Hall of the Mountain King” and “Streets: A Rock Opera” have significantly influenced the progressive metal genre.

Insights from Metal Rules highlight Savatage’s ability to maintain their distinctive sound through various lineup changes. The current iteration features veteran members who contributed to their most successful releases.

The upcoming tour represents a significant milestone for the band and their dedicated fanbase. It may showcase material from their new album alongside their classic repertoire.
